As we continue to operate in new ways during COVID-19, from working and placing orders from home, receiving shipments at our store owner’s house, answering emails from a plethora of different devices, to arranging contactless pickup, and finding new ways to engage with you, our lovely clients, over social media, there is no doubt that this has been quite the change for everyone.

For all of our 2020 brides who have had to postpone or reschedule, our hearts utterly break for you and we empathize with what you are going through. This pandemic has been taxing on our relationships, our jobs, our mental health, our finances and our physical health, among other things.

We believe in hope. Hope that we will all come out of this stronger, hope that our world will heal and hope that we will be able to celebrate love and marriage, in person, with our nearest’s and dearests soon!

We all want to have something to look forward to and with that in mind, we are currently booking summer appointments for June, July and August. We are hopeful we will be able to host limited appointments by then, but if anything changes, you will be the first to know (if our store needs to remain closed then we will simply be pushing back appointments until it’s safe to reopen, and once we do reopen, you will be the first in line!).

As we begin to book these appointments, we will also be increasing the steps we took to ensure safety prior to store closures. Some of those extra precautions and steps include (but are not limited to):

• Setting a strict schedule for cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces and hands, especially in high use areas
• Providing staff with a deep stock of gloves for these scheduled cleanings
• Placing of hand sanitizer and wipes in reception areas, dressing rooms, break rooms, etc.
• Checking the temperature of each employee daily before opening
• Masks may be worn by staff and is encouraged for guests.

• Remaining vigilant about practicing social distancing and adhere to provincial requirements regarding the limit of the number of clients and staff within our store at any one time
• Limiting the number of appointments we offer, and the number of brides and their companions, to adhere to provincial guidelines (limitations may range from 1-3 guests depending on other appointments, staffing, etc.)
• Within certain dressing rooms, where social distances may prove difficult to adhere to, we will consider asking clients’ guests to help with dressing or tasks in need of very close proximity
• A sign will be posted on our front door that will very clearly discourage any customers who are feeling ill or displaying symptoms of sickness not to enter

Regarding current deliveries: we are in close communication with each of our designers and have assurance from each that over ninety percent of current gown orders will not be affected by any delays. We will be in contact with you if we learn of any changes, but as it stands near everything is running smooth and on schedule!

We cannot wait to have you all back again as soon as it is safe for everyone!
