Wedding dress shopping is unlike anything else in the world. It’s a once in a lifetime, every little girl’s dream experience. Yes, at the end of it you hope to end up with the perfect dress, but really it’s about so much more than that. It’s about looking forward to trying various dresses on, it’s about sharing that experience with your family and friends, it’s about searching for that perfect fit, and it’s about having that moment when you feel and decide “that’s the ONE”. It’s about the journey and not just the final destination. We are here to help you live this experience out to the greatest, most fun and memorable extent possible. This is the reason why we exist. We think this journey is important and worth taking for every girl about to be married. We are passionate about picking the right dress for each bride and we care about making the process as fun and stress-free as possible. We also think it should be transparent and clear to the customer and we put a lot of effort in making sure that’s the case.

By the same token, bridesmaid dress shopping is a unique experience as well. And while it’s probably not every girl’s dream to be a bridesmaid ;-), it is part of the bridal experience and it’s about supporting and helping the bride, who is probably your good friend or a member of the family, create a wedding experience that’s as fantastic as possible. We recognize that it can be a difficult, and sometimes thankless job, but we are here to make it as easy, as stress-free and as fun as possible for the bridesmaids too! Our vision is to become the premiere bridal wear and bridesmaids dress destination in the Greater Toronto Area and to be known for offering the highest quality customer service in the industry. Our goal is to be at the top of any bride’s or bridesmaid’s list of stores to visit and to choose us as the store where they pick their dream wedding dress or perfect bridesmaids dresses.

OUR STORY - FROM THE OWNER

Like many of you, I’ve dreamed of shopping for my wedding dress ever since I was a teenager, so when I finally got a chance to start shopping I didn’t want to stop. I loved the whole experience; trying on different dresses and veils and having my friends around me to tell me what they think. And then of course the moment when you find THE gown, what a great feeling that was. In short, I had a lot of fun shopping.

When I finally got married, I felt sad in a way because I realized that I will never get a chance to shop for a wedding dress again – if everything goes according to plan :-)

I wished there was a way to re-live this experience again. And then it occurred to me, what better way to be a part of it than to start my own bridal boutique. A dream was born. Forward to 2007, I am pleased to welcome you to Jealous Bridesmaids. We are now in our eighth year and as of Fall 2014, in a brand new, much larger and, if I may say, super cool and unique location. Enjoy your shopping and don’t forget, a wedding is a happy occasion, so picking your dress should be a really fun experience as well.
