Sorry about the…..ehm, ~1.5 year delay. Definitely long overdue and difficult to say “it’s been worth the wait” at this point….because of how long the wait has been (not because it’s not awesome). But, it’s finally here, and I hope you agree, IT IS AWESOME. It’s been a labour of love, and part of the reason why it’s taken so long is because we wanted to make sure it’s really amazing and leading edge for this industry. I don’t want to blab for paragraphs on end because I’d rather you start exploring for yourself, but before you do, I thought I’d summarize the key features and changes:

• Appointment Booking Form is now unique to each type of appointment: Bridal, Couture Bridal, Bridesmaids and MOB/Special Occasion.

• Bride Profiles: Ability to create a profile by clicking on “Register”. This is designed for brides-to-be to create their own profile. Once you do, it allows you to do two things, 1) It allows you to save your favourite dresses, by clicking on the heart (must be registered and logged-in), to create a short list that hopefully helps you narrow it down to that "It Dress", and 2) it allows you to use the Jealous Gift Registry

• Jealous Gift Registry (this is the big one, and we believe a first in the industry) - Once a bride-to-be is registered by creating a profile, where she will set her Goal and Target Date, others (family, friends etc.) are able to find that bride by searching for her using their first and last name. Once located, they are able to purchase a Jealous Bridesmaids Gift Card that can be used towards your dream wedding dress or to apply to any goods and services at Jealous Bridesmaids (i.e. accessories, alterations etc.). Essentially, your family and friends are able to contribute to the cost of your dress by contributing to the dress fund. That money will then be used against the cost of the dress.
  
  For example, if the cost of the dress is $2000.00 and your Jealous Gifts contributions total $800.00, then you only have to pay the balance of $1200.00 yourself, as the bride-to-be. If you have a dress fund and with a balance and decide to buy your dress somewhere else, you can use the balance for other products at Jealous Bridesmaids, like alterations, accessories (get a beautiful veil to go with your dress or a piece of jewelry), or apply the balance towards your bridesmaids’ dresses. Jealous Gifts are non-refundable but can be applied to any product or service we offer.

• Collections pages contain more images and descriptions of the dresses with our goal to eventually have all of the dresses that we have in the store on our site.

• In the About page, we have created Wedding Dress 101, Bridesmaids Dress 101 and Alterations 101 sections. The intention is to provide you with as much information in advance of your appointment, so that you know what to expect and also to help you use your appointment time as efficiently as possible, allowing you to focus on selecting the right dress.

• We have also created a blog page (you already know if are reading this) to keep you up to date with the latest news at JB, general bridal fashion posts and anything else that we think might interest you.

• Finally, the Contact page has a lot more information, including directions and parking info, which again, is aimed at making your experience as fuss-free as possible.
